instagram and whatsapp are already bought, and facebook does have plenty of revenue. Snapchat has started their business model, and they do at least have some revenue. (Certainly not profit, but revenue). Any way you look at it, there are s

My question isn't is it a bubble or not, the question is what would the effects be this time around? Most people seem to agree the bubble (if it exists) is in privately held venture backed startup companies. Does the popping of that bu

Glass was pretty terrible IMO. Lots of major issues, not the least of which was battery life. People complain about the battery on the watch (which i think is great fwiw, never get below 60%). Glass couldn't even dream of 1 day battery

This article felt very weak and empty. The biggest complaint seemed to be that other people noticed she had it, and started small talk about it. Oh the horror. It's an article in search of minor reasons to not like the watch. I don

It is $99/year to have apps in the App Store, but it is per developer account and not per app. I almost think devs would be better off if it was per app. At least any devs planning to make a living off the store. It would cut down on a

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Paying per article is absurd IMO. when I started reading the article I assumed the change would be exactly as you described, x free articles and then $1.99 for full version.

I think you're missing the enjoyment part. I'd rather have a chicken sandwich or a salad from Wendy's than Soylent. As would most people I suspect. It's possible the grilled chicken or salad isn't actually better fo

Most of the shippers happily pick up boxes from you. I have ups pick things up at my house all the time. Just put it in the box and stick the pre printed return label on the side.

I believe Indy has a big regional distribution center, so not that surprising to me. I would have expected Nashville on the list, as we also have some big warehouses located here. Hopefully soon.

So many places have great return policies, so it doesn't really matter anymore. There are places that specifically encourage you to buy like 2-3 pairs of shoes for example and ship back the ones that don't fit. If you are normally

Not really. Crowdfunding on kickstarter isn't "raising money." It's presales. It's revenue. They've raised 15mil, and had 2 really successful kickstarter projects.
