It seems like IAP solves this problem. It might be a bit of a hack, but it would work. Not sure what the big deal is.

Ah I see, you weren't asking for the info specifically, just suggesting I need more of it on the landing page. Thanks for the suggestion. Do you have anything specifically you'd like to see in the "About the author" sect

I couldn't help but think about Shawshank as I read this. Once you are in prison for that long, it's hard to know anything different. 2-5 years is one thing. 30 years is something completely different. He was in prison twice as lo

This sounds awful to me. I get that you're writing a paycheck and you want people to work, but that's got to get done on the hiring and firing end of things. Hire good workers. Fire people that don't work out. >Be a little

Now that is a good point. I still think tiered pricing is a better fit, but perhaps he can make the tiers higher.

I think a much better solution would be to not charge per user, and to make it tiered. This is the type of thing that could be useful to teams of different sizes, but it doesn't add more value for more users really. Paying $25 a month

How is it spam? The whole point of "Show HN" is showing off products people have made. What could you have possibly expected clicking on a Show HN with ebook in the title?

This article is pathetic on so many levels. He starts off saying he basically has no clue about technology or the industry, and then concludes with Apple is doomed because it's hard to organize his youtube downloads in iTunes. Really?

That could be true, but not necessarily. There is an opportunity cost to take into account. Is it better to port to the other platform, or just work on another app for the same platform? I think there are lots of advantages and good reasons
