This looks pretty interesting, but can someone explain google here? I assumed it would be resolved at the end of the article. Nope, just casually mentions that google considers something that is extinct endangered and banned their account.

Interesting, I just tried Android for the last week as well. None of his complaints bothered me though. I actually almost switched, but ended up going back to iPhone as well. I will miss some things (widgets) but in the end the iPhone is be

It's not that hard to argue. Given there are lots of things to take into account, but Jordan averaged 2.5 more ppg than lebron, and 5 ppg if you take out the wizards comeback. Jordan also won 6 out of 8 championships, (and you know, wa

What is the difference between this and sending a SMS? If it isn't racy or something you need to hide, why is snapchat better than sending a text? Why does the "meh" picture need to disappear from the world and not just hide

I think kids can be reliable tech predictors, but you have to look at the service and why the kids like it. Is it something that also translates reasonably with adults? Facebook started with college kids, and the value seemed obvious to me

You just suggested that Enron was insider trading so I don't think you have a great handle on what insider trading is. It is not traumatic for someone to enter into a stock trade that they are planning to make. The fact that the person

Why does everyone keep minimizing this to stole a wallet? He did more than steal a wallet, and he did it repeatedly. Finally, I've also said that life might be excessive, but significant jail time is reasonable.

Losing a job is traumatic. Enron though, wasn't about insider trading. Yes several of the guys at the top were charged with insider trading, but they were also charged with fraud, money laundering, conspiracy, bank fraud, making false

perhaps you are right, but "stealing a wallet" is minimizing the severity of what happened. Breaking and entering is different than being a pickpocket. Grabbing a wallet off a table in a restaurant is different than someone breaki

I don't find it odd that it varies, just that it varies so wildly. well over 10x seems unreasonable. If it is an area that is that expensive, perhaps it makes sense to transport the prisoners a bit to a less expensive area.

You are suggesting that everyone who has ever committed rape is mentally ill. That seems like a stretch to me. I'd suggest there are a lot of people that are simply bad people who like to have forceful sex with someone who doesn't

Breaking and entering - very traumatic to someone. insider trading - traumatic to no one. I'm not sure what these "damages" you speak of are. Someone wanted to buy or sell stock, and an insider bought or sold it. Sure, they h

So what is a reasonable punishment for a serial rapist? Seems to me that no one should get the chance to be convicted of rape 3 times. They should have been locked up before that 3rd one happened. I might, might let you out at some point af
