I use Grasshopper, but they can't send a fax. This looks like a service I was looking for a couple of months ago, but couldn't find. Everything wanted me to sign up for $5 a month or more. Or I could send one fax for $3 dollars. I forget

I suggest you try spending money with Google, then ask for some sort of customer support. You might trust them a lot less after that.

Yeah, but in my case I'm in a grey area like the facebook app developers that Apple just screwed...not to mention the developer's customers.

Creating an iPhone version of my app just got even lower on my todo list.

People should only note how many people live in the dwelling and send it back. That's the only constitutionally approved question the census is supposed to ask. The rest of the questions are there to tell politicians what group they should

You seem to contradict yourself. "You can't build a business on Apple because they can shut you down when ever they want" I totally agree...so why are you OK with that when you might be next?

I'm pissed. Not sure if I'm and iPhone developer now that Steve says PhoneGap is out. Oh, well...I guess I won't be able to make 99 cents 10 times a day through iTunes sales. On the plus side, using PhoneGap I can still develop for Androi

Yeah, as a kid I would do almost anything for money. The interesting thing was when my father offered me money for performance in sports, I often delivered when normally I couldn't. When I was 8, I was offered $25 for each goal scored in m

Perhaps Twilio does pay the carriers, but I send hundreds of text messages a day and pay nothing because I send it through their email to SMS gateway.

At 3 cents a message, my freemium service would go bankrupt fast. Twilio has way overestimated the value they provide. My guess is that AWS will be much cheaper, like 100x - 1000x cheaper.

They actually wrote an article on this? They might as well have wrote one on how the iPad is bigger too.

Yeah, I almost never use that. But I really like how I can drag a maximized window and it normalizes or drag a normalized window to the top and it maximizes. I got a mac mini for some iPhone development and I'm constantly perplexed at how

This was a clear victory for property rights. They own the equipment; they should get to control how their property is used (in accordance with their contracts). The problem here isn't the lack of regulation, it's the lack of competition (

No, I looked it up...98.5% of people voted for McCain or Obama. You must think I'm wrong in some other way...please explain. Getting out of Iraq wasn't part of either candidate's platform. So, how was I blatantly wrong?

That's fair. >If you really believed that the killing is bad, you ought to not enlist I really do believe that. I even donated thousands of dollars to a POTUS candidate that would have gotten us out of Iraq as soon as he took office.

I think that means you're not supposed to go walk up to them an shoot them while they're wounded. But, how do you aim a 30MM cannon from a moving platform to target only unwounded combatants? And in Iraq what is the difference between a c

Well, at least we seem to agree that war is bad. ;) From the pilots eyes, he just got the drop on a bunch of bomb laying insurgents trying to help their friends. Of course if it worked out that way, we wouldn't be having this discussion an

Remember though, you're watching after knowing that innocent people were killed. In fact, I watched it in 480res, full screen, on a 23" monitor and I too thought it was an RPG. What do you suppose the heli gunner was watching on?

As a tax payer, I'm not too happy about paying for these peacekeeping/war adventures in the M/E. I'm not convinced that I'm more secure because of them. That said, in the style of warfare that exists in these areas, it's probable that inno
