I think their claim isn't that it's impossible to be efficient in existing SQL but rather that pipe syntax is more natural and approachable to a lot of people?

I wish we could just all agree that there are some people who don't notice slight lag, and people who genuinely notice and are distracted by it. Of course it's fine to ask why something like this project exists if you don't k

Switching editor every five years doesn't sound that bad? Especially if you really get a new editor which is "better than what's currently available".

I think German school system tried to teach me these systems, or at least offered optional courses to learn about them. As a pretentious 16 year old I couldn't have cared less. Maybe it's hard to educate people about it before the

I think you are very right. I have been missing a "simple" UI for digital scientific notes and your project looks great. Less for documentation or papers maybe, more as a tool of thought or impromptu communication. Or both, who kn

Would "quadtree" be the keyword here? That's always the first thing I think of when handling distributed points and doing some (local) measure on them.

Yeah kind of. I have worked with LabView and liked the flowchart UI for handling lab instruments, but for somewhat complex algorithms it got unwieldy really fast. I have the feeling LabView is a good tool for designing control panels and vi

I'm not sure about the AI features but the concept of working with code on a canvas and having some sort of flowchart UI has been a dream of mine for some time. I mainly do data processing and draw lots of flowcharts for communicating
