I really wish I could get off Chrome on mobile, but it just works so flawlessly. I hated Firefox. It always felt like a second-rate mobile browser. I tried Edge and it's better than FF, but Chrome still just feels like how mobile brows

I do the same thing now, but the recommended section leaves a lot to be desired on mobile. There's no way to prevent songs from getting suggested (other than maybe blocking a song entirely?). My recommendeds don't seem to get upda

Hopping on the IntelliJ love train. I've been using it for the last five years. It is the one piece of software I still get excited about. Heck they've even made fonts interesting.

I read rather slowly. I've been setting meager book goals for myself the past couple years, hoping to up my goals over time. But I feel my reading speed hasn't improved much. Do you, or did you at some point, make a conscious effo

I almost didn't understand this, but then remembered that growing up I didn't have a room and all my family members had televisions on in every room. The only way I could read was to put on headphones, turn them off and face away

Also just finished Can't Hurt Me. It's probably not for everyone. Goggins has a pretty unhealthy view of himself when he was 'fat' and his relationships with other people are kind of suspect. But it's an intense rea

Yep. The time is upon us. My friends who aren't even big into games are getting quests because of super hot and beat saber. And Christmas is coming around soon. If VR fails at this point I would be surprised. If Facebook got some compe

As hopeful as I am for unconventional drugs to have more medicinal uses, is it unreasonable for me to think there's no good medicinal depression cure? Is it unfounded to think depression generally has its roots in being disconnected fr

I wish we had a better way of conveying what goes on in our heads. I have dreams and I can visualize things, but it's never like I'm "watching" a dream or memory. While I'm dreaming it feels real, but when I recall

My desktop has really flaky WiFi. Its WiFi adapter and a few peripherals are connected using USB3 ports. I just thought I was too far from the router (it's a room away through two walls). Is it possible switching them to the 2.0 ports

Doesn't an event horizon imply a gravitational pull so strong not even light can escape? Isn't the effect of gravity the same at the event horizon for all sizes of a black hole? I thought the size only affected the "accelerat

Tax-deductible charitable giving means that people get to decide where their money goes on their own. There's no democratic process in the appropriation of their money. This means the wealthier you are, the more say you have in appropr

Private charitable givings are tax-deductible (to an extent) so some of those donations aren't entirely, or at all, altruistic. How much of this charitable giving can be attributed to our nation being altruistic and how much of it is j
