You're saying this team has proven neither of them wrong in that their findings agree with GR, is that correct? Essentially, nothing new has been learned about these two theories?

I bought a Vinyl player (AT-LP60XBT) but rarely use it because I feel like I can't tell a difference between it and Spotify through my speakers (Edifier S350DB). Only difference seems to be it's more inconvenient. It feels like th

Also probably has something to do with using the sunk cost fallacy to inspire some people to exercise. If you've paid for a trainer you won't find it as easy to just stop.

It's so interesting how we all seem to recognize these images in different ways. I found a lot of these hard to identify, but Star Wars was an easy one. It stood out because it looked like star troopers and the bottom right looked like

Or, conversely, apps like TikTok, etc, etc will learn from past failures and develop even stronger algorithms to capture attention ad infinitum.

My dad used to whistle at us all the time as children and he probably still does when I see him. I probably picked it up from him. I whistled to an ex SO and they considered it disrespectful. I'm not sure I yet understand why it's

Same boat. Used to be a big Firefox fan back in the day but even if it's not bad for me these days it doesn't do anything special. Edge works just as well and feels slightly less cumbersome.

I've been using just one monitor for the last two years and never once wanted to go back to multiple monitors. I used to have two external monitors and it was always frustrating to dock/undock and re-arrange my windows. That was w

Curious about your age? Does this get easier as you get older? I stopped drinking for 6 months and then a friend got a new job and my birthday rolled around. I felt like the situations called for celebratory drinking or that it was expected

I'm glad someone has mentioned this. After a night of drinking I always feel nauseous to the point that it ruins my whole day. Even after a moderate amount of alcohol or any kind of mixing. I'm not certain I have GERD, but it'

Sounded like anxiety to me. I experience a number of those things on and off again and as far as I can tell they've always been because of anxiety. They can feel serious but it's often just your mind telling you something is wrong

Was it? I know a couple books[1] that suggest life prior to the agricultural revolution wasn't nearly as famine-stricken as we tend to think it was. These books claim hunter gatherers were quite proficient at finding enough sustenance.

This is all just personal anecdote. It might be wrong for you; maybe it doesn't apply to everyone, but it has worked for me... The options seem to be: 1) Delete your social media account 2) Set up timers (OS-level, account-level, etc)

Agreed with both. I hope someone can eventually put an estimated 3D model of something familiar, like a person or a school bus or something, for scale in the image video. And this is one of the coolest videos I've ever seen. I had a hu

Being from a smaller town I'll note a _good_ bookstore is not always an option. I don't think my town has any first-hand bookstores (at least not anymore) so I have to drive 45 minutes one-way just to get to a B&N.
