Is it common for companies not to have this already? Both places I've worked so far have had this. There's an office and everyone has a desk and is presumed to be in the majority of the time but if you want to WFH you just did and

I work in public sector (NHS Tech) and I'm not so sure. There can be a lot of bureaucracy around hiring leading to quite well defined roles. You're right about understaffing and if you end up in a good sub organisation there'

If you want to be a local you have to actually become a local. That means moving there and actually living there for a significant period of time.

It was a huge step down if you liked RPG games, which given Bethesda traditionally made rpg games and that fallout was originally an rpg series is hugely important. Fallout 4 suffered from quest repetition/duplication, an emphasis on c

Please no. Isn't that what they tried when they made Fallout 4 and it's easily the worst of the modern fallouts.

Not really. The alternative before Netflix was more expensive cable/satellite tv. Netflix was both better and cheaper. As a gamer I probably only spend ~£150 a year on a few really good big games and the odd cheap sale game. And I pref

Find a FIRE group based in your country/state. There are loads on Facebook and likely other platforms. People pursuing FIRE aim to save and increase a significant proportion of their income so they can retire early (30-50s) and have a

That pretty much describes me to a t. Discovering theatre was the best thing that ever happened to me and I absolutely work so I can go do theatre in my spare time. I aim to FIRE so I can go to drama school for fun.

I run there, which is time I still spend at home. And I enjoy the walk home as I live in a beautiful city. I normally go walking throughout the day for longer than that anyway.
