I'm thinking of kit/owner-built aeroplanes. They can fly like regular (type-certified) aeroplanes, but have to be placarded (e.g. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/cspages/passgrwarn.ph... ) https:

I wonder if there's a solution similar to experimental aeroplanes, e.g. a massive sticker which essentially says "THIS IS NOT A CERTIFIED PLANE, IT COULD BE DANGEROUS"

It fees like it’s competing with things like the John Deere Gator (~$15k) more than a regular on-road vehicle. Or even a regular golf cart, those things aren't cheap!

So it's a two-stage attack; increase the frequency of up/downlinks, and then send the bricking payload!

> A bigger issue (to me) is that EVs are just too expensive. You won’t save money unless you’re comparing an EV to a luxury car. Certainly in terms of raw price, but a lot of companies in the UK are doing effectively a company car scheme

I wonder if something similar applies to cars; anecdotally, people seem less likely to let a shiny Audi Q7 merge compared to an old Skoda or something.

Do you mean financially they aren't able to? To me that's a different situation than literally not allowed to leave by your employer, because they won't return your passport.

I don't think it's a fair comparison with most of those things; a smaller house is actually smaller, a warmer/colder house is actually a different temperature. A lighter vehicle doesn't have to make any material differen

I don't think chemical fertiliser is a solution to overfarming; it's a way of increasing yield. Although I guess that could be what you mean by overfarming? The yield per hectare should be whatever is naturally sustained?

Part of the problem is you usually can't drive over them at or even close to the speed limit. Especially for vans. So you either get them slowing down (squeaky brakes) and then accelerating (clattery diesel), or they smash over the bum

I'm surprised that two jet engines running at 70% throttle don't just slide the whole tank away from the fire; or is it dug-in somehow?
