Couldn't have both pilots fighting each other on the controls (hard nose-up vs. hard nose-down) without knowing about it, since the yokes are physically linked (unlike sidesticks).

Needs the context of what % of total wealth they own though surely?

Chart 7.2 here is probably the most useful https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/public-spending-sta... since it goes back further than 2019/2020.

Out of interest, why a scooter and not an e-bike?

I guess the point is that it's not related to the person's income. For someone on minimum wage, the £15 congestion charge prevents them using the car. For a high-earned, it's just a fee to pay as you continue to drive in Lond

But that didn't cost the government, right? I assume that's what the main problem was.

> In the US it would have caused a mini riot. Is that true everywhere in the US? In NYC I saw a lot of cars with rubber bumper guards, presumably to protect against these little "nudges" when parking.

Why would the required budget vanish? People are greedy. Why claim UBI for just you when you could claim for your fictitious family of 6?

I've seen some which are self-adjusting too; so in a quiet environment they only make their "angry crow noise" quietly, but on a busy site it'll be a bit louder. Clever stuff.

Ah sorry, I didn't see the part about using them as jump planes. Not sure about that, the ones I've seen are usually turbines. Plenty of twin-pistons used for transport though.

Turbine engines would, but that's different from turbo-charged (piston) engines.

Now imagine what effect that has on commercial pilots who are already working, and want to seek medical help for mental health issues. Risk losing your medical, and your job, or just carry on as if everything's fine?

These fitted ones are flush with my ear (actually slightly further in even), so not had that issue. Sometimes putting the helmet on knocked the plug and meant the seal wasn't quite right, but easily solved by putting it back in! Screen

Same if you ride a motorcycle; I had a set made which reduced the harsh wind noise, but still let you hear the traffic around you. In fact it made it easier to hear cars, etc. Made motorway riding much more relaxing.

Totally. Although it’s amazing how different the displacement:horsepower ratios are. We’ve got 2L car engines producing 300bhp, and 6L aeroplane engines producing 160bhp!

That seems like an incredibly low-bar for what's considered "grossly offensive". Then again, the worst stuff is made by anonymous accounts and the police probably aren't going to trace those.

There shouldn't be anything inherently dangerous about them, a car shouldn't be getting that close to the back of a bicycle really. I've seen some that have a tall flag-like thing, I guess that's to help show that there&
