I guess your point is that it's obvious, but I'd argue it's not. A lot of people are hyping up LLMs as the solution to all our problems, and there have been a lot of discussion around what's reasonable use cases (and a l

Vertical integration is definitely one. It's such a big factor it can cause regulators to break up a company. See Google/Chrome as an example from last week.

jQuery proved that it can be a fully reasonable way to achieve standardization. Then of course there's the classic xckd about standards. There's no one true way.

A nit; DRY is probably not what you think it is. DRY is basically the same as SRP, framed differently. In SRP, it's totally valid to have the code twice if it has different meaning from a user pov.

Anyone knows how to/if it's possible to setup c# 13 with the new semi-auto property (field) feature? I know it's not part of "standard" c# 13 out-of-the-box

Personally, I don't like this kind of thinking that it's a failure of leadership first and foremost. Yes, of course leadership can both work proactively to prevent conflict, as well as try to minimize/react to situations. But

Half will beat index by definition. The key is to beat it including the cost of beating - and we've also seen that the extra value have generally been captured by the fund managers - not the fund buyers.
