AFAIK state of the art is still a mix of new DNN and old school techniques. Things like parameter efficiency, data efficiency, runtime performance, and understandability would factor into the decision making process.

I thought the bar was that you had to prove that it doesn't discriminate which a is much higher, I thought this is what drove many settlements. Personally I would rather limit all price discriminations to a simple predictable and publi

This mirrors my experience of the UK. A dysfunctional country whose wheels were slowly falling off and now not so slowly. I’m generally pro devolution but in the UKs case their political class is so god awful that giving them more power did

You can only do the financialization trick a few times and each time it is more damaging than the last. The end comes when it is no longer possible to outrun the delayed negative consequences. There is an attribution problem, like the straw

I still think you are agreeing with the implied and later stated accepted premise that there is a correlation and it’s not always obvious, I’m still unsure as to what it is you are trying to add.

You're going to have to explain your point to me, or perhaps you misunderstood my own. My point is that while it may have been unclear to the Romans as to the cause of changes in behavior they did notice a change and did complain about

Lower intelligence would likely surface as hedonistic behavior which is probably hard to distinguish from decadence. Decadence and hedonism were constantly being complained about long before the eventual fall.

That sounds like a you problem, failure to comply will result in forfeiture and imprisonment… I wouldn’t put it past them… capriciousness in UK policing is a feature not a bug.
