I recommend watching the video, the real meat of it starts at about 6:20. The creator works for Vox and is generally considered pretty reputable. Basically they did a study and found Mexican Coke, despite the label, is made with HFCS. Gizmo

I'm unsure how accurate this video is, but it says even Mexican Coke is now made with HFCS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJgQEpFMptQ

The PSIO is no longer recommended. TerraOnion's MODE for the PlayStation will be much better. https://stoneagegamer.com/blog/mode-comes-to-playstation/

That's exactly what I was thinking while reading this. Whenever I see things like "apply the font style to a nbsp, to ensure the DOM loads it" I always wonder why web developers so often have to "trick" the browser.

My Mac experience started with System 7 and ended with Sierra. I used to be a massive fan, all of my hardware was Apple for decades. I now own zero Apple hardware. Apple hardware and software was better when it was uniquely Apple. MacOS 8 w

I used to be a MacOS user from System 7 to Sierra. I owned an iPhone from 2007 until a few months ago. I have completely switched away from Apple. It absolutely boggles my mind how popular Apple still is. Apple's quality is absolute ga

This seems to be the only approach that works anymore. Are all the negative reviews petty or entitled? Then probably the thing in question is fine.

Not to mention the arbitrary power given to stated during primaries merely by when they vote. Why does Iowa, a state that is over 90% white, get to influence the nomination that much?

This is true, but often terminal vims don't have clipboard support. For example the vim that is bundled with Ubuntu does not. This can be especially confusing for people new to vim, or sometimes you jump onto a random machine and find

I switched from vim to Webstorm, which is based on IntelliJ. I agree with most of this article. IdeaVim is a pretty good vim emulator (although not perfect, but none of them are). There's something to be said by having sane defaults th

I primarily watch YouTube on my TV via a Roku. It's probably possible to jailbreak it and install an ad free YT app, but that's beyond what I'm willing to do.

Robotron started the twin stick shooter genre. Games like Geometry Wars, Smash TV, and Nex Machina (which is superb btw) all owe their existence to Robotron. What I find really interesting is that Robotron holds up against these newer games

I remember in the 90s people all thought Stallman was crazy. And by people I mean developers, Linux users, people on usenet, etc. We all appreciated his contributions but at the end of the day just figured he was wearing a tin foil hat.
