Agreed. I really think we'd be better off if EBT was expanded to everyone. Maybe this is a more palatable step into UBI.

Eh, I'm really not a fan of iterm's tmux integration. It tries to do too much. I can't have my tmux statusbar (only the iterm one) and it really wants you to use iterm panes (and iterm commands to split them...). I like that

Hi! I'm someone who generally hates the "shoved-down-your-throat"ness of AI, and who got pretty upset at the MDN saga (which we do not need to relitigate here), so I think we have something in common. I'm not bothered by

I have a friend who takes this; it's very expensive and insurance doesn't want to pay for it, but if you convince them that you're high enough risk ("oh, I just keep finding myself in strangers' beds, I love getting

Mp3tag for Mac ( https://mp3tag.app/ ) does the same - great piece of software, I've used it 6 times and have one day of trial left :)

If I understand correctly, it's that everyone will still eat < 100 plants, but they'll be different ones from everyone else. Maybe every grocery store won't have the exact same kinds of squash in it. Maybe we'll have

This is neat :) I love going and making containers smaller and faster to build. I don't know if it's useful for alpine, but adding a --mount=type=cache argument to the RUN command that `apk add`s might shave a few seconds off rebu

I used this one for a little while and I regret it. I'm pretty sure it messed up my mouth microbiome -- been having worse breath, more deposits on teeth/tooth pain, and a lot of gum bleeding. All once I stopped taking it.

The new search is still so useless that I just maintain a full local clone of our org's code. Someone was requesting perms to run a script to search across the org today -- it would've taken 10+ minutes to run while respecting und

A few years ago, I was part of a neurodiversity ERG, and we were gathering recommendations for the new office that was going to be built. I found "Designing a Neurodiverse Workplace"[0]. It is a fantastic design document that told

Afaik that's in-progress, and the goal is support for other editors, but it's not there yet. Vanilla talon (what cursorless is built on) works fine everywhere though! (You just don't get the AST transforms.)

If you want a general overview of cursorless, along with seeing what it looks like in practice, the talk from Strange Loop this year was great: https://youtube.com/watch?v=NcUJnmBqHTY

Cool. Now why does it consistently happen for images where no underwear is visible, and why doesn't it happen for cis women? Why are appeals not granted? And why didn't staff even acknowledge there's a problem?

For Mac, Lunar (brew install --cask lunar) gives "sub-zero dimming" that works perfectly -- it hooks into the brightness keys and gives a whole second, lower menu. The lowest setting is actually too dim (as any lowest non-zero b

On the contrary, this kind of hack is /incredibly/ cool. Finding ways around arbitrary restrictions? Writing a bash script that generates barcodes? Beautiful.
