After playing with it for all of 30 seconds, my thoughts are: 1. It's ridiculously fast. Not that it matters that much, Aerospace is fine for me. 2. I somehow doesn't require any accessibility permissions... so it "just works

I feel similarly. For me it’s less about my unique customizations and more about this paranoia of there being something remotely sensitive in my ssh configs or something… the idea of hostnames, ips, domains, etc “leaking” worries me. I use

I took gp’s comment to mean something more like deno. Deno is nice because you can explicitly allow/deny filesystem, network, etc. in an ergonomic way like `—-allow-fs` So not sure it would necessarily be ergonomically worse. It could

thank you, I will try this too. I feel like I didn't have to do this much work with other models like o1/o3/4o... but if it provide the return value I'm hearing from the hype around Claude I am willing to try.

Am I the only one that doesn’t see the hype with Claude? I recently tried it, hit the usage limit, read around found tons of blogs and posts from devs saying Claude is the best code assistant LLM… so I purchased Claude pro… and I hate it. I

Interesting approach. Since I've converted entirely to nushell, I'm using zoxide to solve this navigation friction. https://github.com/ajeetdsouza/zoxide The only thing I'm missing from zsh is path aware

I haven't used little snitch in nearly 15 years... I love all the security focused apps that objective-see puts out, and they have a Little Snitch equivalent "LuLu". Does anyone know if the same thing can be achieved with Lu

I understand your point but the article quite literally says: “Here are the rules. The person in the center ring can say anything she wants to anyone, anywhere.” I think GP has valid points about this “rules” impact.

I’ve been using beancount for almost 1.5 years now, and other than having to explicitly open accounts I love it! I use the fava UI to have all the nice modern visuals: https://beancount.github.io/fava/
