I've made it a habit to wait for 24 hours to respond to an incendiary email. Allows both parties to calm a bit and the response is more balanced and eloquent.

My main advice: work on your sales skills before you do anything else! I'd like to think I have decent people skills, but when it came to sales, networking, negotiating,... it wa a rough ride to the point that I'm back to look for

It's been a couple of years, but I used to work at a place that published a number of books. Usualy wholesale price was %40 off retail. Amazon demanded 55% at the time or they wouldn't sell the books. I can imagine some publishers

They open it once a year but you can see the site as you drive by. Very close to the outskirts Socorro, although WSMR is so large it covers both sides of the range if I'm not mistaken.

Wasn't 95 the first "full" DE and sligthly better game support? With 3.1 you'd still boot into DOS and start up windows to play solitaire.

Not for me. It actually keeps me on my toes a bit regarding differences in distros, especially since I have done well taking on project where server (mis)configuration was an issue as well other devs were struggling with.

The main value to the customer wasn't ftp'ing the files over, it was the technical understanding to find a script of value, make sure it was written properly, documented, etc. Not to mention the time you took to understand their issues.
