Ruby on Reels! :D Great effort, thanks. I wish there were more sites like this, devoted to particular topics that proved to be valuable enough to be presented in a public talk. I currently use YouTube for this a lot (like most people, I gue

If you spend the day working with F-based applications, this may not be a solution. But if you require those keys for tasks like renaming files, etc it may be enough to configure SuperKeys on the Raise: keeping the key pressed for 250ms can

We have some spots here in Martorell (25km away from Barcelona). Really handy for those public places (like the public gym), as the mobile coverage is not great at all there (strong shadow zone, for whatever the reason). You don't need

I don't think that's the case. The main gas imports come from the US, with the rest coming from Africa. This is why we don't need to follow the general EU rules regarding gas pricing [1]. BlackRock is indeed problematic and h

I read "The Three Body Problem" due to all the promotion it received at the time. In fact, I proposed it as the first book for our small reading club. We all agreed that I should have simply bought some beers and read whatever boo

I think that is common in Catalan, too. But, curiously, not so much with Castilian Spanish: almost every word I can think of is pronounced just like it is written, if you do it properly.

A coworker told me some years ago that understanding my broken English was easy for him, as he had worked extensively with other Spaniards and my grammar and pronunciation was just like them :) Honestly, I'm regularly surprised by how

The books where also very different from each other, but with much superior result. Give them a try, if you want part of the fun of the first season. But the first season of the Netflix show is still muy preferred approach to this universe.

Super cool. Our students are using ttdy[0] and tmux for providing shared access to a configured environment, but your solution seems much more flexible :) I'm going to start experimenting with it for our next courses, thanks! [0] http

I took the phones of my parents and siblings to install Telegram on them myself ;) My brother and sister use it sporadically, but I still can send them messages knowing they will read them sooner or later. My parents are more proficient wit

Although I knew about core wars, I never played it. But I must confess I spent a ridiculous amount of time creating super destructive machines with pascal and p-robots :) https://corewar.co.uk/probots.htm

I only partially agree. Git is a complex project, developed to help with the management of the Linux kernel source code. Because of that, the original audience was technically very advanced and maybe didn't need any higher layer of abs
