Can you hotplug a GPU or do you need to still (effectively) reboot? (I know it's only the windowmanager that needed a restart but if all programs run under then, well.)

No need for hard concepts. I am talking of things like "opsie, I don't want to commit this yet" (git reset) and "destroy all my work" (git reset --hard) being a command line switch apart. That's just wrong. Tha

Where do I learn modern desktop Linux? I am using it on servers since 1993 and used for desktop 2004-2017 (and was very unhappy with it) so my desktop knowledge is severely outdated.

One of the reasons -- or maybe even the very reason -- for college not to be free in the US as it is in the EU because it's the chief recruiting tool. Read Lauren Hough on more, she is much more eloquent on this.

That's not a meme, many git commands have switches which make them behave wildly differently creating massive confusion.

No, it's step one. There are two more steps to take. One more is taken: the conceal step. Now the question, do the others know whether the crypto is from a contract killing. To quote the article: > Chris and the other participants s

That's the thing: there is no actual and tractable use of this tech. It's probabilistic so every answer it can give can only resemble the real one and only accidentally be the real one so you need to fact check it anyways and

There's a cadre of investors I guess epitomized by a16z who hypes some bullshit, makes a lot of money and doesn't care much who gets hurt in the process. They have been loud on crypto and now it's this stochastic parrot, thi

I am not participating in industrial strength gaslighting. "greatly improving what I can accomplish" is a trap. But to each their own.

There's plenty of bullshit going around. You can't convince me ChatGPT launching a few weeks within the collapse of FTX is a coincidence. The crypto hustle-scam is over, time for the next hype cycle. That's all there is .

It's probabilistic and not factual and so everything it outputs must be treated as something the actual answer might sound like and needs to be counterchecked anyways. If I am researching the actual answer already then why bother?
