It is the level of testing isn't it? Death pr. infected goes from 0.4% (Germany) to 1% (Diamond Princess) to 7.8% (Iran) to 9% (Italy). If you have plenty of resources and you do contact tracing you are going to find many cases and the

I think this is a good question. Here are some random observations on Japan: 1. Japan, Tokyo area in particular, is crowded but clean and neat. 2. The Japanese, contradicting western prejudice, are not particular healthy. Lots of heavy drin

Your modelling - how well does it match the actual data? Does it reproduce the actual data from the countries (China, Iran, Italy) furthest in the epidemic's lifetime correctly? What does the terms moderate mitigation, weak mitigation,

I agree with this. TypeScript makes Java and .NET developers think they understand the language and platform and causes a lot of irrelevant design to be copied over into the JS world where it mutates and becomes absolutely poisonous. Just l

There is no Mac OS X and Apple's service/warranty. Also if you try to match the boxes spec by spec; the Mini are usually not that much more.

So much naysaying here. The Mac Minis are excellent for certain use cases (like a home server) and they last forever. Great that Apple is updating them regularly.

This is an important question and it needs to be answered. There needs to be systematic sampling of the whole population so the number of infected can be correctly measured and the policies should be based on that. This is also what WHO is

I don't know what Denmark is but I am worried. Three weeks ago our PM was busy playing petty political games with the opposition, today she is shutting down our borders preventing all foreigners entering the country.

Just to be clear. I have no opinion on whether this is blown out of proportion. I can just see that my own country is choosing the most extreme measures (packaged in nationalistic rhetorics) where as our neighbours are not. The idea that th

Depends on why the increase in cases? Just because succesfully traced and identified a group of cases, it doesn't tell you anything about the growth in the true number of infected. There are 10 people in hospitals in Denmark for COVID1

Here in Denmark we have just shut our borders. You can no longer enter as Swede. We as nation put on extreme measures but there is no visibility. What is the true number of infected in Denmark? There is no sampling or systematic measurement

It is a bit freigthening to follow US politics on this. Everything seems to be politicized. I compare it to Denmark where the opposition fully supported the government's decision to shut down schools and send home public sector employe

The president says that clearly in his address. However the stuff about cargo being included is really odd. As if he was freestyling rather than reading. Other than that; I fail to see the point of this. There is already community spread in
