I believe the close proximity of animals and people (for the first time in history) is what was responsible for the new diseases. Of course, the higher human population density means increased likelihood of contagion.

Actually, diseases are largely a result of agriculture. Hunter-gatherers were much healthier (and about 6 inches taller) than their farmer successors.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that you should listen to your teachers. I've seen plenty of students "diagnose" themselves, only to neither mindlessly crunch questions nor appreciate the beauty of mathematics.

For wireless peripherals, non-charging AA batteries are a better choice than any charging dock or solution. Why spend every day docking/undock the thing (or charging the batteries when they die) when I can slip new batteries in once every 6

The use cases are really interesting; online product demos will be a killer feature, and we wouldn't have to worry about piracy (we're able to monitor the piracy rates of our desktop app, and it's about 25% of our paid subscriptions)...
