I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that you should listen to your teachers.
I've seen plenty of students "diagnose" themselves, only to neither mindlessly crunch questions nor appreciate the beauty of mathematics.
- todayiamme 16y agoMy teachers tell me to just solve questions and get good marks so that I can move ahead in the rat race of life. They are quite awesome, but unfortunately my paradigm doesn't exactly superimpose upon theirs. So, I don't get the mileage I should be getting from their advice. My goals and aspirations are simply too different. The ones that do understand, smile and tell me to just tow the line. I don't want a job in some big company. Neither do I want truckloads of money. I just want to create beautiful things.
