It was also a personal (and opinion) statement from Markus Persson (notch), who fully owned the game at the time, predating the formation of Mojang, let alone Mojang's acquisition by Microsoft. I'm disheartened also by the fact it

Bash is distributed by GNU, not FreeBSD. FreeBSD distributes instructions for fetching, compiling, and packaging Bash (the ports tree and the Makefile for the bash package), but that is not the same as distributing Bash. Additionally, Bash

How is that archaic? It's making a distinction between the operating system and add-on software. Bash is add-on software (not part of FreeBSD).

There's a couple emulators for the Switch already, but it's worth noting that this guy used the Wii U version and the Wii U emulator CEMU.

And I think there's nothing wrong with that. Different tools for different strengths. GIMP is excellent at image manipulation and doing various effects, not so much at drawing. Krita is the other way around.

These days, blocking random isn't a thing anymore. /dev/random and /dev/urandom just do the same non-blocking operation.

The arrogance of claiming that "wifi doesn't work", implying for everyone, when it's really just _your_ hardware that it doesn't work on. For me, FreeBSD wifi works straight of the box on the laptop I have.

Even more frustrating, Linux has been offered full NFSv4 ACL support a couple times but the kernel maintainers turn it down. This is honestly my #1 sticking point against Linux and in favor of FreeBSD.
