I was wondering similarly: Dev work on ST2 seems to have stopped altogether. Which is a pity, because it really was shaping up to be a winner. But there are still plenty of features missing. Now i'm using chocolatapp, which seems to be movi

What if it was a 100k bond, refunded after 5 years of proven good behaviour? (good behaviour = 5 years continuous employment, clear crime record, etc)

My 'hack', as you put it, is to work on iphone apps on my laptop whilst on the train (2hrs/day). Makes the trip go faster, and supplements my monthly income by 50% at this stage.

Reminds me of the story of steve jobs, when he dropped the original ipod prototype into a fishtank to force the engineers to make it smaller: 'See? Bubbles? That means there's air in there. Make it smaller.'

You sound like you have an awesome attitude! Maintain that attitude, it'll take you further than any technical skillset will. As for your dream to work at github: learn objective-c, and make an ipad app that allows you to code on an ipad: p

"Just a minimal superset of C with lambdas" You pretty much exactly described Objective-C with that statement. I'm not sure if you intentionally meant that or not?

Hi, Just wondering, with appfigures, do i need to include a library in my app so that it'll send data to their servers? If not, it sounds pretty neat, and i'm definitely interested.

Brilliant info! I'm gradually getting to where you're at, I really hope i can do as well as you :) Thanks especially for the marketing/promotions information. That's my biggest struggle to be honest, so any information in that area is gol

I think it's great! Mou plays to the strengths of OSX, MarkdownPad plays to the strengths of windows: they both have UI's that 'fit in properly' with their native environment. I've always found that ST feels slightly out of place in windows

This is a brilliant way to promote their app (cam plus) - a great blog post that adds value, and indirectly is used to promote their app while drawing traffic to their site. I should use that idea with promoting my apps!

There's ConciseKit for precisely this problem: https://github.com/petejkim/ConciseKit We use it in a lot of our code here. Its quite nice. You'll end up with something like: myDict = $mdict(val, key, val2, key2);

Is it considered poor form around here to submit your own articles? If so, i'm terribly sorry and will remove, however i feel strongly that a lot of people write off obj-c based on superficial weaknesses, and that it has a lot of strengths
