I’m building a custom vocalist/DSP AI. I’ve never built any kind of neural net beyond a toy demo, but I’ve been programming for ~25 odd years. Think like ACE Studio, but I’m going much less for pitch performance and much more for clari

I am very new to Next.js. I came across it first two years ago in a Vercel setup and it was it was a mess. I now attribute that to the code base rather than either Vercel or Next.js itself. Fast forward to ~9 months ago. I joined a company

Perhaps more indicative of late stage capitalism where rent seekers try to extract more and more value and consolidate more and more power.

If this is how the law is applied for code, are we to expect this is also how it will be applied for other data (e.g. audio a la Udio and Suno)?

Braindead rent seeking take. Dutton just cost himself the leadership. The whole of Australia doesn’t want this let alone the NSW Liberal Party, where he plans to put 5/7 of these reactors.

I agree, surely some sparse, distributed representation (that also factors in level of detail) is what will be needed for simulations with truely mind boggling numbers of agents. You’re hitting into a hard physics problem that’s also hittin

I assume 1 process with 2 threads takes up less space on the die than 2 processes, both single threaded. If this is true, a threaded solution will always have the edge on performance, even as everything scales ad infinitum.

Mojo’s model looks interesting here. No GC and no ref counts, something akin to a reference count mechanism at compile time. Not sure how it works exactly and the documentation (as is the whole project) very alpha.
