This isn't the title of the post. It is misleading. I first thought it was a typo, but it is an opinion piece about WW III. The actual headline is "If You Think World War III Is Unimaginable, Read This"

I'm sure you can rewrite the headline to "why software engineers like x" there are a lot of software engineers and I'm sure some like woodworking and in sure a lot don't. I find it interesting, but I find a lot of t

I'm not sure I can give you an example where a pie chart gives you more info than a take. What a pie chart does do is convert information fairly quickly. Personally I think you should use it basically for percentages only (or similar s

Probably had more to do with the fact that all the cool kids are supporting air pods or something. So now a skin tone hearing aid looks like a hearing aid. While anything else looks like a cool air pod.

And how much did those movies cost to make? I think the movies you are referring to were expecting to make 500m or more. They needed to make about 500 to break even! Disney said have some successes last year. But they aren't as impres

Printf doesn't really require you to reason about the code anymore than stepping through the code does. Usually you already know where it crashes. You can randomly put a printf somewhere but the value may have changed somewhere else. I

My first thought on this is, half the time there will be more red balls in the container. IF you draw a red ball first, you are more likely to be in the half that had more red balls. Therefore you are more likely to draw a second red ball.

I'm not sure why you think it is ill posed. The question is, you randomly pick a ball, IF it is red then... So yeah, it is basically the same as "someone else removes a red ball" now randomly select a ball. OR Pick a ball, is

What does the previous ball have to do with it? We KNOW the previous ball is red. Then it asks "more likely to be red" It seems pretty obvious that it is saying draw the next ball, which is more likely? Red, green, equal. Why woul

If the dollar bill itself is the reward, it is a worthless reward. I may as well give you a piece of paper that says "reward" on it. The dollar is a reward because it can be exchanged for something.
