Cars, at least American cars are so large because people want them that way. Yes there are some safety laws that require at some size and weight increases. But not much. My 2019 car isn't significantly larger or heavier than my 1992. I

How many fatalities are caused by cars traveling in excess of 90 mph? I don't know the number. I am sure it is greater than zero, but I would guess it isn't much larger than that (percentage wise) I'm not sure why you picked

Induction should be intuitive. I think there are a few things that get lost. One is you need to show the steps are equivalent. You have to show going from n-1 to n is similar to going from n to n+1. My favorite analogy is coming stairs. Y

While you can scribble, you can easily highlight and comment on books. Going back and forth is maybe slightly harder than a book, but it isn't "so difficult." I'm not saying reading on a Kindle is better than a paper boo

Personally I feel like a ban like this is anti free speech. Even if it is run by as foreign institution. I think it is fine for the government or companies to ban it for their employees. Otherwise it is just wrong.

I guess it depends on your definition of lobbyist. But why shouldn't they be allowed? And why would any democratic country disallow it? Disallowing lobbyists doesn't seem very democratic to me.

If you want to go someplace fun, just book a ticket to someplace fun. I actually got in the wrong plane once. But I was already heading someplace fun, and I'm glad I didn't end up going somewhere I didn't want to go. I was i

How are the farmers lowering the housing stock? Are they destroying housing? Are they preventing others from building? You claim they can't force their land to be agriculture, but you apparently can force it to be residential?

I think there are two issues here. First of all, the freedom of speech issue has generally broadened to include all of government. Generally government can't ask a company to restrict speech, Even outside of a law But there is more to

"Democracy dies if the voters can actually give power..." I don't think democracy means what you think it means. Democracy dies if you take power away from the voters, which is what you seen to be suggesting.
