I had to do this once. I went on a trip to Africa with an organization where I shot tons of photos and HD video. In the end, I had over 100GB total, and they needed my source footage to edit videos and such. I lived in Florida, and the e

Well, I was about to add it to my Steam wish list until I read this. My only non-work computer is a Mac, so I guess I won't be playing it until it's released there.

I'm really surprised there's no photos of the build process. It's hard to tell if this is actually what is being described, or just a blog post around a photo of a framed image.

There's no perfect security, and honestly it sounds like you're already going above & beyond what most people would be doing anyway.

I saw the same thing, but it appears to be fixed now. A quick fix/reaction by Oculus!

The same thing happens on the Sony Blu-Ray player I watch Netflix through (via "apps" or whatever). Usually after more than 3 episodes maybe, with no interaction from the remote.

There's a lot more to a self-diving car than just software, there is a ton of needed sensors and other hardware. Let's say an expensive self-driving car is around $100,000 new, even buying that car used 3 years later would be out

Work is one thing, your co-workers are another. If you don't like the people you are spending 40+ hours a week with, I'd begin looking for something else. It sounds like you've given it a pretty fair shot. Software is easy

Very late in seeing this comment! It's a Netgear WNDR3700v4. DD-WRT is supported on it, and i did successfully get it installed, but I had no connection to the internet with it. There was a wiki page for my specific router model w

I live in a small town in Georgia and literally my only internet access options are Comcast and AT&T. AT&T's service here is fairly slow compared to Comcast's offerings, and since I work from home remote for a company bas

This would be a good solution assuming you only needed to write once to your archive. Since this is literally etched in glass, there's no way to edit any data. Also, instructions on what to do with a box of glass someone finds 100 ye

I would love this. My company just updated their public-facing website and it has a 28MB 1080p video playing in the page header. The site was outsourced, but I work as a web developer for some of our products and was asked by the marketing
