This is exactly what happens when the free markets are not allowed to rule. These loans should be nearly interest free as there is little to no risk in lending.

If you are an at-will employee, the power is yours and don't let your employer convince you otherwise. If you do quality work with integrity and know that your pay rate is below market, then ask for the raise. If they don't give it to you

When I first saw Groupon coming up, it reminded me of a program I implemented at a Clear Channel Radio radio market. Clear Channel Radio corporate was pushing this "weekly deals" idea to push online ad revenue. The whole idea was remarkabl

I wonder if Posterous is also aggregating all "views" of a post, not just individual page views to that post. So, for example, the "Page View" count in Posterous could include views from your homepage, archives, rss and permalink page. I h

I am most curious to know if Google is continuing to ship them regularly rather than in batches every few weeks.

Sad day here as well. I took the sticker quiz the day the cr48 was announced, but no luck. Hopefully soon.

from the FAQ ( https://www.banksimple.com/faq/ ) > If you don’t charge hidden fees, how do you make money? We make money from two sources: interchange and interest margin. Interest margin is the revenue earned from lending, less what th

Thanks. I'm not so much worried about my data as I know that can be easily exported already. I'm more worried about becoming reliant on the interface and product as there really isn't anything else like it out there. Totally rooting for yo

Yeah, I echo this worry. I wish I could pay for this. Not sure if investors are going to be interested in this given the fairly narrow focus of the feature set and potential market. That being said, I think these are the things that make

I have been using Workflowy for about 2 weeks now and have a 2 week history of things I have done, didn't get completed and meeting notes. I love that I can keep all of this in one place without worrying too much about formatting.

Agreed. And I see the larger vision. Yes, it'll be easier. But I, for one, won't use Facebook Messages for SMS. Why would I text Facebook to text my buddy for me? When I can just select him from my address book? All of a sudden the idea

The problem with this? (and all other attempts to change "messaging") Is that it requires users to do something different than they expect or do currently. The goal of having a "unified inbox" won't work unless you natively integrate with

I'd agree that a URL link is good for now, but I'd vote against any inline embedding. I think this will complicate your UI. I think the link should browse to a new page in workflowy that is sub to the item to which it is attached and embed

Um. It would be nice to attach (via upload or via link) a screenshot or PDF to certain items, but I wouldn't want to format this inline with my text. Just be able to click and view. I definitely wouldn't want to sacrifice the simplicity and

I hope that you don't sacrifice the simplicity here. Instead of actual fields or clickable options for setting tags and due dates, let me type them in and then display them as needed. something like: look into alternatives for GTD due 12/1

I'd +1 this feature request. Although, I would rather not see these show up in-line but instead be a link for download. Or possibly better yet, let me browse and attach things from DropBox.

Agreed about overcomplicating it. I'd rather link to the media elsewhere to keep my information less cluttered and not worry about the formatting.

I agree with this completely. If you have an interest that leans either way, go with that. If you don't know which to choose, I would suggest CS with an Economics minor. You'll learn enough in the basic Economic classes to run a business.
