For two years I wrote notes in class on yellow legal pad. After class, I rewrote into a spiral notebook, one for each class. That way I only carried a legal pad to each class everyday. Not surprisingly, my grades those two years were great.

My dad had his bladder removed. Cancer came back 18 months later and he was gone 4 months after that. It sucks. Plus, I regret that he had to live with a colostomy bag for that time. His quality of life probably higher if they do the other
