No idea why you bundle Mongo in there. I use Mongo in multiple production apps and I've never, ever looked back. Wouldn't even consider RDBMS's at all after my experience with Mongo unless I absolutely had to.

The research for years has been pointing to the fact that calorie counting is one of the worst ways of tracking food. It assumes that all calories are equal. This thinking is what led to the food pyramid in the 70s which has then led to the
