You might consider either Autohotkey for Windows, or Keyboard Maestro for Macs (or something similar for Linux, I'm sure). You can rebind keys, including shift and control/command, to whatever or wherever you want. I did it to ge

That's an interesting use case. You ought to email them and ask about it! My goal is just two off-site backups (AWS and Google).

I highly recommend the "Arq" [1] commercial program for backing stuff up to these kinds of services. They support most of the big names (AWS, Google, Dropbox, etc.) and will probably be supporting the new Google options soon. It

Perhaps the folks at Microsoft's Lync (named after this gentleman, [1], no doubt) or maybe it's Skype for Business now could get some of this research. We have this at work (alas), and it does "transcription" of voicemai

You might try looking around, for another company which does what you do now. I did 32-hour weeks for about nine years, both at a small company (~ 850 people) and the comparative behemoth I work for now (~ 90,000 people).

Not sure how to fix this, but I added "Remote" as a filter, and got sites that are "Remote: YES" and "Remote: NO". Is there a way to designate only one or the other?

Another useful economic choice, at least in the USA right now, is to only eat half your order and save the rest for the next day's lunch or dinner. I'd guess that the cost of food has not risen as much as the cost of labor, and so

That's one of those ideas that sounds great in theory, but turns out to work out badly in practice. In fact, people who live together before marriage are more likely to divorce, not less. Look at it this way: you move in with someone

I spent several years programming the CM-2, and it was a joy to program, and not difficult at all (for most things). I still miss C* in some ways. Also, see the Inc. article about why they went out of business... it was REALLY bad arroga
