This looks like a good simple way of doing the popular refocusing. Looking at the pictures I think they are doing much less processing than the similar google app: Instead of a true gaussian blur in the other objects I think they just align

There is always a balance. At some point these types of algorithms will probably be regulated, and that will take some of the pressure off of both owners and manufacturers. Given the choice I would usually pick me over you, but I would also

I am very happy with the timemachine backup on my mac, but I have been looking for a good offsite backup solution so that I can trade storage with my family in case something happens to my house. This might finally be the right option. BT S

Be safe: My wife and I have been to SF twice. The first time a bar fight spilled out into the street while we were walking to church at 9am on Sunday morning . One of the guys pulled a knife, but someone talked him down before there was an

I imagined that it would all be done through remote debugging with the file accessed over dropbox, but I guess it makes sense that you would have to do it locally.

I went to a talk from a NASA engineer at my school once, and the thing that struck the me the most is the relative speed of objects in space. They design the space station to shield against small objects traveling at 20km/sec . In Gra

The biggest thing I see missing is debugging. I am not sure how much development I can do with out my NSLog statements. It shouldn't be hard to add writing the debugging statements to a text file for your to check on the iPad.

Does anyone know why the defensive patents were eliminated? If Amazon is being honest with the goal of this then that would have been perfect.

My only guess is that they are limited by the transmission lines. Upstate NY has a lot of hydro and wind power, and actually produces more energy than it can export on a lot of days. The obvious answer is to build more high voltage transmis

If you would like to learn to do some home repair work volunteering can be a good way to start. Organizations like Habitat For Humanity basically offer you some training in exchange for your labor. I hung drywall in NY with habitat and did

The best explanation of the LHC black hole issue I have ever seen was a The Daily Show interview which pegged the odds at 50/50: Either it will. Or it won't. The best part is around 3:00 in. http://thedailyshow.cc.com&#

You can see the example code and run it on the simulator without paying for the developer program. I think there is also still a student program that lets students run code on hardware for free, but yes, you need to pay for the developer pr
