It's probably unfair to compare bugs to bugs, since with a typed language, your compiler and editor caught many "bugs" before they even hit your application.

I think the main benefit comes from being able to build tools to transform, refactor, etc. your code in very little effort.

I think this is a great response. There are so many ways to validate your idea via low-"tech" solutions without building out an app. Your value proposition is not "an app that provides X". It should be the X. Technology
