Joplin is a good open source alternative. You can sync it to a self hosted backend like Nextcloud though.

Getting "grilled" doesn't affect anyone one bit whatsoever. It's just another day at the office, you're just sitting in a different room.

My first encounter win AMP was copying and pasting and link into a text message and it had a google domain. I was confused as all hell. Took me a minute to get the actual link.

Then how would you be able to reset your password? All I'm saying is that any service that allows password resets shouldn't have passwords at all.

Exactly. The only password that really matters is the one for your email. Everything else just provides additional attack vectors.

That's a moot point if you can't tell the difference or if the one that was pre-ground ends up tasting better in a blind taste test. I agree, however, that the freshly ground one should taste better.

I think it's pathetic when people complain about something and continue to use it. That's why companies are allowed to get away with so much bs.

For me comfort is all about leg room and has nothing to do with the chairs themselves. I don't want my knees touching the chair in front of me. If better designed chairs means more leg room, then I'm more comfortable.

I agree completely. Being able to say things out loud and have things happen is cool I guess. However, that doesn't mean I want to give all my data away and it to be stored in some black box on the Internet. I want control of my data.

Does it bother anyone else that this is a phone app only? Why can't it be a normal web app? One of the bad habits people have is being glued to their phones. And the permissions it requires seem pretty skeptical as well.
