See eg. https://www.timeanddate.com/time/map/ There are a few more longitudes for which it works but not that much...

I meant disabling the system if they disagree. I agree that one can argue that this doubles the chance of system shutdown compared to properly detecting that one sensor fails. That's obviously only ok if the system is expendable to a c

Are you absolutely sure about this (would love a reference)? Letting another party running code removes at least many layers of defence. I would not trust a bank which is doing that it's just a sign of gross incompetence.

You take input from both sensors only when they don't disagree (by a margin). There may be failure modes where both have the same bad input but I don't think that this doubles your chances of processing bad input.

You need to realize this problem before it is too late. If there is full trim down when you realize it there might not be enough room left to offload the stabilizer and trim back (manually, no less). Afaik if you cut off stab trim you can o

Problem is it seems that it is necessary to offload the stabilizer to be able to trim back. That means pushing the yoke probably being already close to the ground.

Looked up, thanks. Seems you can't grant or revoke that permission. I don't understand why having it at all if you cannot change it.

I don't own one :-). Edited to add: A bold move by Google would be a public announcement that you may return the device for a full refund.

In which Android version Internet needs permission? Mine (7.1.1) does not have such a setting.

Google should put its actions where its mouth is: can I return the device and get a full refund?

Just look at the diverse police laws (Polizeiaufgabengesetz) in states where the Greens are part of the administration. It's really appalling and many members of the Green party in the Bundestag I deem absolute hypocrites. The Liberals

Annexation and being belligerent are two different things. You can be the latter without doing the former. In that regard the US hasn't a stellar track record. >China just recently used its military to annex territory the size of In

It seems that any end-to-end encrypted messenger could fall into this as well. I've not seen the draft itself but if it is too broad it could be unconstitutional.

To be fair, you'll have to compare this to the treatment of the fuel waste and the decommissioned plant. Especially the former problem seems to be largely unsolved.

In what way is China overtly belligerent compared to, say, the US?

Afaik the horizontal stabilizer is deflected by a worm gear. Even with a totally destroyed fuselage I think it would be possible to recover parts of the gear which allow judging its position at time of impact. As well it is in the aft part

I don't know whether there are really regulations for that but as a pilot (which I am not) I would not want this as this would lower the decision velocity (I think it's v2) after which the start can't be aborted.

But how would it help to not grounding the plane in the US if it is grounded pretty much elsewhere? I am pretty sure orders will get canceled or at least postponed over this. And Boeing pretty sure cannot risk another incident.
