>the developers will at some point reach for the deprecated api Agreed, however you can have organizational measures to prevent this (a build time check). And of course a change in the framework must be accompanied by decent conversion l

I've heard that some Haskell frameworks do this as well. I am heavily using Java's Servlet framework and the blatant spraying of Strings everywhere is astounding in this age. I understand that backwards compatibility is an issue,

Which ones would that be? I know of many which have a tax on various forms of energy consumption. And even then, industrial consumers are exempt or have a reduced rate.

Sourcing high quality vegetables is very difficult in Germany. Even with local farmers it is very hard to come by. It is quite easy to find sources for organic food but most of it tastes equally bad compared to non-organic, sometimes even w

Dutch tomatoes are said to be a fourth aggregate state of water. This however applies to any vegetable that can be purchased in Germany. Almost independent of price.

How do you know that the wire harnesses on the MAX are the same than on the NG? The only word we have for it is Boeings. As the planes are not identical, the wiring might not be identical as well.

the same logic applies for new planes. Why should I be obligated to implement this new safety feature when I have build the ones before without it? The MAXes where built after the regulation came into place therefore you better build it in.

This would end quickly if every honest athlete abstained (being part of the game). Or even a majority. Professional sports is corrupted so far that the best move is not to play.

Which would be? I am living in Germany and I am pretty disappointed so far. GDPR has (intentionally?) a huge loophole: It is up to national agencies to enforce it, with no individual right to sue. These are heavily underfunded thus enforcem

I just checked in Java, it is: 1. increment x, then take the value of x 2. take the value of x, then increment x Both are expressions in Java returning a value. My C is very rusty but I remember it being the same in C.

Afaik the iron age depended on charcoal, not on fossil fuels. Europe has seen a wide deforestation due to it. Industrialization might depend on fossil fuels but not an iron age per se.
