Damned impressive and I can imagine how chocking it can be. In old times we had necrology announcements in newspaper. Family would publish an announcement and people would read the necrology. The locality property of the information would

Learning git here. Could you please explain how rebase squashes commit ? Looking at man git-rebase it seam that it detaches a branch and attaches it to the current branch. From the documentation the chain of commits is preserved and simply

My feeling is that we need a neutral and decentralized service for that like the DNS. I want this information hosted in my country and subject to the laws of my country and as a free service like the phone white pages companion of an intern

This is indeed a general problem. Facebook and google+ where response attemps. But my impression is that they failed because they didn't focus on this particular service to do it right. I would push the vision further. We need a servic

I don't understand the rationale to introduce such weakness. The NSA doesn't have the monopole of spying and cracking code. This weakens defense of USA's interest as well. This raises again the question if we can trust the pe

What's wrong with passwords ? The info is in your head and in a physical booklet secured at home for backup. Its only weakness is is keylogger. A secret key protected by password doesn't provide you more security. You can only con

Yes. Thank you to point it out. That is what I meant by standardization. An effort to identify and sort out these ambiguities or missing features like how to escape * *, etc. I'm a fan user of Markdown, but I'm also frequently fru

I was convinced before by experience of running a small web server with python using flask and nginx. Go was shown to be 10 time faster for a simple web server, not 100 and I don't think Go is better than python for everythig.
