Honestly I didn't know about a), so thanks for pointing out my mistake. I just think keyboard cover is overrated in your argument. After all, it is peripheral, iPad can have one too, but that alone doesn't make a MBA killer. Low price + Un

I don't think MS is going after MBA. sure, keyboard may be nicer than bt keyboard for ipad, but that doesn't make it a laptop replacement. the os -- windows rt -- may be as restrictive as ipad is, quite different from the windows for deskt

There are tons of cases where iPad could be better off with a keyboard, especially for productivity apps. Come on, android has full keyboard support from day one.

Even if it is not universally important, it is very good for projects like: http://www.pcworld.com/article/229284/the_250_case_that_turn... As a platform provider, why bother work on an app that thousands of developers can do better, and

A very important missing feature is external keyboard event support. I don't want to go too far into the details, just let me tell you this: ESC, Function Keys,CTRL, ALT are all dead. I submitted a feature request among other developers lik

That explains why iOS is not a good platform. The owner of this platform loses his focus (building a good platform, giving developers more power), instead it starts to duplicate developers' effort in the name of user experience. Surely they

Well said. iOS is Apple's best achievement, but it is also his own toy and he don't really want to share it with you. Face it, he's not going to change, and we should really leave him alone with his own balls.

I learned to program in c, then one time when i had this project to work in VB6, i am really impressived by how easy it is to put something on the screen. syntax check is very useful for beginners. and the UI is clean, no unnecessary parts.

This is a smart move for Google. QuickOffice is already preinstalled on Amazon kindle fire, and in the near future it will be the defacto office suite for Android tablets.

I am immune to this trick. Still feels slow if it doesn't response to my actions. And even worse, I feel cheated. The cpu should be doing what is important, not loading a useless image.

Where is the target of this device? Certainly I won't buy this, but neither can I think of any reason for a sane people to pay more than 100$ for this box. People will get an iPad instead, rather than paying 3xx$ for a dumb box.

this emulator has been crippled to only run a handful of bundled roms, because apple don't want their users to run custom executables, despite that they are interpreted.

Begging is not going to make things better. The best weapon is to actually leave the platform (not threatening to). I believe eventually someone can build an equally good device. At the same time, developers should publish their apps on oth

This is some sensible response to the evil Chinese hype. As Feynman put it, when a researcher over blow his findings, he's doing "Cargo Cult Science" (See the ending chapter of "Surely, you're joking, MR. Feynman").
