This is some sensible response to the evil Chinese hype.
As Feynman put it, when a researcher over blow his findings, he's doing "Cargo Cult Science" (See the ending chapter of "Surely, you're joking, MR. Feynman").
- Drbble 14y agoI thought cargo cult science was (mis)copying techniques without understanding how they work. The original example was building a fake airport / ATC at an abandoned military base and hoping cargo planes would land there.
