It's a recurring theme with me, though a bit different where my name is under step 3, and I only realized that when I tried to upvote the question and couldn't.

I just don't see a realistic attack vector with cross-origin drag-n-drop.

One that's particularly annoying to me a while ago was you cannot drag and drop elements from an iframe to another iframe from another domain. IIRC it was only an issue in Chrome.

Strange, I have had dozens of USB sticks failing, but no microSD issue. Even those with the most writes (in dashcams) have been going strong for years now.

I am interested in knowing what happened after. Did they just give up on the rats? What do cities around the world do to control the rat population?

It happens to me all the time. I used to use Gmail API to send mail (personal hobby app, to my own account). Every now and then Gmail would randomly refuse to authenticate through the API because of unsafe or suspicious access or some other

About Sublime Merge, is there any plan for plugins?

Oh wow I didn't know you can do conditionals with variable like that. I'll give it a try later, thanks!

I'm not sure that's what I needed. For example, I wanted to trigger a job only for a merge request, and only if the target branch of the merge request is e.g. master. Is that possible? Trigger a job only for a MR is possible, but

Last I checked, there were a lot of little things that made it not possible to move to GitLab CI. E.g.: - Can't customize your git checkout process (e.g. shallow clone with depth, or merging source branch with target branch with certai

If you have never contributed to a project before, the "attach patch and upload/send mail" part is a significant hurdle. You have to figure out which mailing list to use, which is not always easy to find, then find out the pe

I loved the article! I used to have to maintain some custom ckeditor plugins related to custom elements, spell checking and autocompletion at a job and that article resonated deeply with me on a personal level. I would love to read another

Ruby/rails is not the only factor, but it is certainly one of the contributing factors, and it is a big one. There's no need to deny that.

MR is much easier to explain to people who are not familiar with git than PR. Everyone who has used at least one version control system knows what merge is, whereas pull is a much less clear term.

Not sure why you're being downvoted, I have the same sentiment. pgadmin 3 was by no means a great app but it does the job well. pgadmin 4 is just a mess. It's slow, bloated and buggy well beyond the acceptable range.

I would use pgadmin 3 too if it doesn't pop up a dozen error messages when connecting to a postgres 10 database. There's a pgadmin 3 LTS version but it only comes bundled with a postgres installer, there's no separate package

A bit off topic but I wish postgres came with a good desktop app. pgadmin 4 is just abysmal compared to e.g. MySQL Workbench.

pgadmin 4 is still horribly slow, both when starting up and during operation, horribly bloated in size (100mb compared to pgadmin 3's 10mb). It still hogs CPU and RAM like hell.

Same. Every time there's a Blue Ocean update it requires you to update two dozens other plugins, many of which I don't use and can't get rid of (like the github one). And more annoying is the fact that you can't "se
