Let's restrict it to travel within the solar system. We'll need fusion to power all of those beams.

And for space exploration. Nuclear propulsion would enable humans to reach Alpha Centauri within a lifetime.

They lend out MORE than was deposited. They literally create money out of nothing and lend it. That is how fiat money is created.

The person I was replying to actually did not know that. The irony is was that bank deposits are also a ponzi scheme like Tether. Deposits are backed by taxpayer bailouts in some countries. In New Zealand we have fractional reserve banking

You misunderstood. With the "Fractional Reserve Banking" system, banks lend out money that is NOT under deposit. They are licensed to lend out money created from nothing. This is the mechanism by which money is created https:

"k" is an internationally standardized prefix. Anyone on this site would know it means 1000.

India has a population of 1.339 Billion. They'll have no problem finding/training more engineers to build up that team.

You posted the evidence in your own comment. India is far from the top rank (just above Mexico) and last year they were ranked near the bottom.

Your brain isn't working too well today. Try reading the original comment that you replied to. Centralized misallocation of public resources is the root cause. The banks took insane risk only because they knew they would be bailed out

No it doesn't. It was the root cause of the Global Financial Crisis in 2008, and will be the root cause of the next financial crisis which is definitely coming. It doesn't work.

Centrally controlled misallocation of public resources on a large scale. A particularly nasty form of Socialism.

Dangerous. You can die from water intoxication. It is an extremely painful way to die. Brain swells and is crushed by your skull https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intoxication

TLA+ is for building and verifying a formal model of the program (a blueprint), not for verifying the implementation.

It is a formal method.

Not really. Formal verification methods are mathematically rigorous. They can mathematically prove or disprove correctness of programs and catch bugs that would be extremely difficult for a human to find https://en.wikipedia.org&

Vim was designed for editing _text_. It was not designed for semantic analysis of _code_. The semantic plugins for Vim are hacky addons. Having Vim bindings in IntelliJ is indeed the best of both worlds.

We have this and it works very well https://github.com/JetBrains/ideavim Plain Vim does not have the semantic / refactoring capabilities of a real IDE. This plugin gives the best of both worlds.

Not everything will be automated simultaneously. In order to build a factory that is completely automated there is still human labor in building the factory itself, building infrastructure, mining and transporting materials, etc.

When the second crash occurred, that was then TWO unexplained 100% fatal crashes within 5 months, with extremely similar circumstances and evidence pointing to the same root cause. Basically, the first crash with lion air had them on red al

The two MAX crashes are significantly more severe than the examples you listed (all passengers killed) and both crashes were potentially caused by this specific design flaw https://www.seattletimes.com/business/boeing-a

No. The 737 Max introduced a fundamental design weakness that was implemented for cost efficiency reasons only. The center of gravity is towards the rear, which makes the plane tend to tilt backwards, and requires an automatic system to com

You haven't used many IDEs. This is standard behavior. "find next" or "find usages" is for the current editor and you should never expect it to search the entire project. Searching files recursively is usually calle
