Unrelated to what you are citing, but I believe a “factoid” is something that looks like a fact but is not. Like how a planetoid looks like a planet but isn’t one. I only realized this myself decades after using the term factoid due to page

Not sure this is very causative. The study seems like it spanned up to 17 years and required self reported diet details. There is little isolation in such a study and there’s no word on when/how long people kept this diet. I’m a little

Is the one making money the one making the art? The machine doesn’t make money, the owner of the machine does. Thus the owner is committing something closer to theft than creativity. Especially if the machine was trained on copyrighted art.

I understand what you mean but the vast majority of their structure is carbon based and that comes from gaseous CO2. Can’t survive without the dirt but can’t get big without CO2

I really hope that the corning portion of the company survives and continues to make pyrex, corelle, and corning products. They are some of my favorite ceramics and have been a staple for decades. I'm very sad to hear about this.
