Well said. Yes of course those rules aren't set in stone but the idea is remove as much risk as possible, as cheaply as possible.

No one is a fan of your work, where do you hear this stuff.. Find people who will pay you to solve the problem you identified within two weeks.

Find customers willing to pay. Actively. Not passively.

Find me a FAANG company that didn't start out simply. The trick is to shoot a lot of shots and double down on the ones that hit.

Weird... Looks like you're right. Edit: aha, looks like this is the case under which it happens: class Testing123: def __init__(self): self.blah = whatever()

I use the MPK mini which just feels unnatural compared to a "real" synth. But of course it is way more flexible and sometimes the right tool for the job.

People underestimate the impact that domain-specific nerds have on society. Drum/sampling machines are an example. A simple tool, created by tech hackers, put in the hands of a sound hacker, created an entire genre of music. Remind me

The hypothetical case was zero human input, self sustaining factories that rely on renewable energy. In that hypothetical case... How could nationalizing screw it up since there is no human or non-renewable input required? I guess they can

I think we should encourage junior developers to be dogmatic about styling because they will want to make positive changes. Once you get to a certain level of experience though, it should be a foregone conclusion that all code looks the sam
