Probably because gas stations and EV chargers have very different logistics and modalities. For example, you could realistically put an electrical outlet by every parking space, but doing that with gas pumps would be completely untenable.

I feel like our impressions might be slightly thrown off by the fact that the two numbers are percentages. It's a difference of 0.4 percentage points, but that works out to a 4.2% increase in mortality, which seems a bit more substanti

I'm not familiar with your reader, so I don't want anyone to take this as a comment on what you've made — but I know that the first two are both monetized, though they don't tell what you'll have to pay up-front. A

I don't know how you could possibly get that from "I'm so tired of the constant drone of comments suggesting self-sabotage as a would-be dark pattern." What I'm saying is that without a lot more development, there&#

I'll go on the record that I downvoted because I'm so tired of the constant drone of comments suggesting self-sabotage as a would-be dark pattern. If someone actually put a lot of effort into developing the idea, that might be int

I don't see how "they sold a lot a year ago" and "membership is up YOY" is meant to dispute the idea that engineering talent is leaving. I agree we don't have enough evidence to say for sure, but those figures

This is actually addressed in the OP: > Male game devs deal with it too. Gamers don’t seem to believe expertise exists. But it’s not the constant deluge it is for women. Which was the point of the tweets that Peter made that got him fir

Sure, it happens to men as well, albeit less often. That doesn't make it any less irritating for women. And remember, the other person who got fired was a male colleague who simply pointed out that he didn't have to deal with that

It sounds like the ArenaNet community is happy that talking about one's experience as a female developer is punished more harshly than being openly racist. That seems … un-good. I wouldn't be patting them on the back for that.

How could you see it as anything but a gender issue? Expressing frustration at the way female devs are treated is what they got fired for. What do you reckon it's actually about if not gender? Checkers? Ethics in gaming journalism?
