The effect is really cool -- I've seen these in person. It's like a really well-done, high-resolution take on those lenticular plastic 3D images. It does look truly volumetric as long as you're kind of roughly in front of it.

Trump will not resign the Presidency. And Congress certainly won’t remove him. 2019 and 2020 will see the country better learning to work around a President who acts on whims instead of information.

True. I was being a little flip, there. There are also jobs that would be a waste of time or dreadfully boring for senior devs to spend their time on.

Young developers will work mindless hours and not demand proper compensation. That's why (poorly run) start-ups prefer 'em. Also, wealth is the world's shittiest metric for success. I know a ton of people with incredible skil

I spend my day at my laptop and on my phone for professional reasons. Any task-list tool needs to live there. After years of trying different tools, Things 3 has stuck. For reasons I’m not even totally clear on. Maybe it’s the nice clean lo

Brett Kavanaugh is so oppressed they only gave him a lifetime seat at the top of one of the three branches of our government, ensuring him several decades of making decisions which will impact all Americans. A great injustice.

No, I would choose to avoid people and companies who support such racism. But thank you for playing the role of "guy who argues in bad faith." I think we're done, here.

Actually, I think we should take into account who we're doing business with when we do business. Make the world a better place: Support good people doing good things.

As a private company, YouTube can choose what it wants to host and/or promote. No one is preventing the purveyors of toxic videos from making and distributing them on their own.

Private company: Not censorship. And, yeah, it's tough to specifically define what's "toxic" and/or "offensive." But YouTube's algorithms are unforgivably dumb about it.

This isn't voter fraud. It's election fraud. Requiring an ID impedes voters. Sounds counter-intuitive, but it turns out it's true. And the problem it purports to solve doesn't actual exist.
