Don't we technically still have the non-hinternet in the Darknet/Tor? I've been there a super long time ago and I don't remember it being any better.

I'm convinced the neurology of these people is setup in a way that they feel physically rewarded from combing through random hoarded stuff to find what they are looking for vs organizing things. It would make for an interesting scienti

This argument has never made any sense to me. Once you get past 30-40 tabs, all that appears on screen is just a series of icons, and repeating icons at that as most tab hoarders I've seen from screen sharing have multiple tabs of the

It still is quite a hazel. I find new issues popping up at least once a year that requires technical know how to resolve. The average person isn't going anywhere near that beside a simple torrent setup.

I wonder what's worse for the battery, constantly getting the battery down to 5% and charging it back it to 80%, or letting it go up to 100% and never letting it drop under say 20%.

Same having to enter in a CC for a trial is a major deterrent for me as well because I also have to remember to cancel it if I don't like the service.

Techno-supremacy is based on economies of scale and monopolies. It stands to reason a few massive players would emerge and they would have a lot of power. They can not only buy out the politicians, but do so in such a fashion that no one el

The issue I see here is that being a contrarian is not enough. In order to drive change, one must also have influence. It doesn't matter how good a design is if others are not quick to agree with it.
