I fully agree, but this requires a certain level of experience to organize code in a way that makes it easy to navigate and modify. It's quite easy to end up with with "rube goldberg" code where you don't know what liste

I have some doubt as to how much work extroverts get done, especially if the office is full of them.

Sounds like really bad design choices here. #1 logs shouldn't go on the same machine that's running the app, they should be reported tp another server and if you want local logs, then properly setup log rotators. Both would be goo

"Technical" skills just means a person has or can switch to a "technical" mindset, which I find to be quite different from non-technical people. Not to say that one is better than the other, but I do find it much, much e

Instead of books, I'd go with Laracasts and start off with a simple tutorial using Blade. Once you get a hang of MVC and Blade/HTML/CSS. Then, I would jump into a course that goes heavier into a front end library.

This lines up perfectly with my use of the documentation. It really helps quite a lot to do it first, but as the implementation is underway, new scenarios come up and it's often a challenge to go back and update the docs. The new thing

It's all terrible working conditions and awful bosses until you have too much free time and have to start contemplating the meaning of your own life. Then you REALLY have hard work to do or succumb to the impending nihilism.

You're correct because technically, you can't get unemployment if you quit. You have to be let go or fired in order to apply.

I'd challenge that. I recently moved and was able to find a place that had all that and was cheaper. Having lived in big cities all my life, I totally believed that only big cities had this. Of course, now that I challenged myself to l
