Express is very flexible, and can work in just about any way you could imagine. Take no offense but it sounds like you aren't very familiar with javascript or node.js and that is okay, but there is much to learn about project organization.

I don't know about other desktop browsers, but there would be no way to run this on an iPad for very simple reasons, you can't resize iPad browser windows, and have multiple on screen at once.

v8 is a very successful project for Google. It is running their browser which has quickly become one of the top 3 and is continuing to increase in users. Even if Google did abandon it, there are plenty of people interested in it, and want t

This is an old post. Google has continually improved v8 and those improvements have helped Node.js in the process. I think the hoopla over Node.js using v8 or if it shouldn't has died down and for good reason.
