Great work. Put it on my favourite list now. Do you have any tips for debugging? I use the same combo Rust-WASM for my Glicol music programming language: https://glicol.org The audio runs in AudioWorklet thread while I guess for

Hi HN, It has been about 2 years since I started developing Glicol. You can try it here: https://glicol.org Recently I added support for VST, Bela and responsive design for mobile devices. It would be great if you can try and gi

Fantastic idea and implementation! Just FYI, it seems that in the music community, there are quite some complaints about how Spotify distributes the income for artists. I don't know the details so no further comments from me. But I thi

Why not try Glicol in your browser. https://glicol.org/ It is very beginner friendly and you can gain music knowledge while coding. It also runs as VST in all DAWs (except Logic Pro) on Mac.

I am working on Glicol, the next generation computer music language that runs in browsers and many other platforms. The goal is to help people with zero coding and music production background to get started with music programming. Yet it is

Wow, I checked your website/desktop ( https://dustinbrett.com/ ) again and tried to open your browser to make some music there. Apparently for Glicol you need to enable CORS. I think that's the only thing that stops

If I am to design a system for your need, I will avoid involving the audio level. I will first have a initialised NN; let it output some random note. These notes triggers some synth or sampler, right as the leading guitar in this example:

The target is more towards people who are interested to experiment on RL or EA in sequential parameters generation. Instrument playing experience is not a prerequisite at all while some knowledge on synth sequencer or drum machine can be ve
