If I am reading btw0's comment correctly, it isn't that they are ordering them to stop serving video forever , but instead that they are illegally doing so, because they do not have the proper license. Should they acquire the pro

While that naming sounds a bit too MBA-ish for my ears, it does a good job capturing a concept that I have been trying to pin down for a while now in terms of the types of job candidates that have worked out best for me. Thank you for the m

I am in a similar spot with a 7-year old, 6C/12T overclocked Xeon W3680. If Threadripper frequencies are decent it might finally be time to join the current generation of hardware. I would "settle" for a 12C/24T Threadri

What is the stripped-down version of Chrome you use? Is it something prepackaged or something you've crafted by stripping yourself?

Why would anyone be passive-aggressively mad at Amazon for this? Shouldn't we rag on the companies who built their infrastructure without any failover plan?

Semver is a sweet spot for libraries (tools, utilities, APIs, etc.). When a library I use isn't on board with Semver, I am often skeptical, and almost always disappointed. For programming languages it is less clear to me that there are

The edit to the site was due to the whole thing being Wordpress. I know that Wordpress is decently flexible, "good enough" or even comfortable for many users, even technical ones, my thought is why not have the site be statically
